Chair of the biology department, Miller’s administrative work and heavy course load keep him from pursuing his own research.Miller arranges frequent guest seminars and lectures, as well as field study programs. A staunch proponent of interdisciplinary work, Miller has forged strong ties to the medical school and other departments. He teaches several upper division anatomy and zoology courses, and pays special attention to the medical implications of recent discoveries.
